You may have noticed this blog looking a little different as of late. I felt an upgrade was necessary if I was really going to give this 'Blogger' persona a go. A great friend and former co-worker has taken over re-designing this blog. I cannot wait to see the finished product!
In a short time, I hope that the design of this blog will describe me in as much detail as my over-sharing, over-dramatic blog posts.
This weekend was a long awaited spa-day retreat with my friends. We all met up at Lynette Scuilli Day Spa in Westlake to enjoy a day of massages, foot treatments, facials and manicures for a mere $78 + tip!
I know, you are thinking, how did she do it? Well, in the semi-revised words of Toddler's and Tiaras, Alana, "My mama nickname is Groupon Queen!"
I buy all kinds of Groupons.
Although my friends may make fun of me daily, I get great deals. More importantly, I get deals on things that I want to try. I've been horseback riding, body wrapped and thanks to Groupon deals, finally bought a clothing steamer. Because, what girl doesn't need a steamer in their house?
Regardless, this Groupon was my idea, and a great success if I do say so myself!
We left Lynette's feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. So obviously, the sane thing to do is stop by Deagan's for artery clogging Sweet Potato Fries and Chicken and Waffles right? Oh, and don't forget the Bloody Marys...totally necessary.
Sunday was a lazy day spent jarring my Grandmother's red sauce with my mom. An Italian tradition, I have always made an effort to spend Sunday with my family and definitely in sweat pants.
