If you haven't heard yet...my place of work (and fun, and friends, and creative ideas--"place of work" doesn't do it justice!) is moving! We have built a completely, new and innovative space & last weekend-- was moving time. Due to the distracting hustle and bustle of movers, we decided to have our belated team Christmas party on Friday.
The Glass Bubble Project in Ohio City hosted this little get together for us. It was a blast. Positives: A leopard heart paper weight came out of the deal. Negatives: So did all of my toxins when I sweated out half my damn body weight in the place.
My team and I enjoyed mimosas, while learning the ins and outs of glass art. All in all, a great get together for anyone visiting the area, or a new CLE experience for us locals!
Saturday was low-key, spent running errands with the BFF for our impending trip to Mexico! You'd think because we spent a day buying bathing suits and beauty products for the trip we wouldn't end it with unhealthy eats right? Wrong.
We tried out the new-ish Old Carolina BBQ Company. It was delicious. However, I think I am tainted for life from my amazing life-changing mind-altering BBQ at the Woodshop in Michigan (Note to readers: Diners, Drive-ins and Dives never gets it wrong!)
What's after Southern BBQ you might ask yourself? A Birthday Cake Remix from Coldstone, obviously. I don't care what anyone else says, there is nothing better than a heart-to-heart with your best girlfriends over ice cream or red wine. It absolutely heals the soul.
Superbowl Sunday was spent with more unhealthy eats, friends, wine and beer. I wouldn't be a good advertising executive if I didn't share my favorite spot with you all. So, here we go...literally.
