September. One of the greatest months of the year. Perfect leather jacket, boots over skinnies, sunglasses still on weather. The only thing that could make this third week of such a wonderful night--a little more wonderful? My Birchbox.
This month's theme- the September issue. September issues of magazines are like my bibles. Fashion is at it's peak, and there are pages upon pages of inspiration at my fingertips in the magazine aisle of Target. I can't get enough.
So, you can imagine when I knew that Birchbox had tackled this enormous task--setting off Autumn beauty just right--I was excited to see what awaited me delivered to my door wrapped in gorgeous aqua tissue paper.
BVLGARI Mon Jasmin Noir Perfume. This perfume is not for me. I enjoy warm scents, especially when the weather begins to turn. If you enjoy florals, and smelling a bit older
like your grandmother , this scent is for you.
Color Club Professional Nail Lacquer in Put a Pin In It. I am obsessed with this shiny pink color. It's perfect for the one nail trend! A great set off to any dark shade you're rocking on those claws this Fall.
Dr. Jart Water Fuse BB Beauty Balm. I am BB cream's biggest advocate. Honestly, it's changed my life and my makeup routine. It's better than any primer I have ever used and it's anti-aging and protects from the sun at the same time! What could be better? I am usually Clinque BB loyal but, I am more than willing to try out this balm.
The TWISTBAND. A cute lace hair tie with no damaging metal. The idea is great-- in theory! But, if you have a hair of head like mine, you might need three of these puppies to suffice for a run or spinning class. Tip: You can use a regular hair tie for function, and put this cute patterned tie over it for style purposes only.
The Brush Guard. One word for this product, laziness. I replace my makeup brushes every two months, and I clean them with Sephora's Brush Cleaner almost weekly. I do not have the time, nor the will, to wash each brush, shape bristles, slip this on and store---every single time! If you invest in brushes, and don't replace them often, this would be a great product for you to keep them in ship shape! But for me, it's just not practical.
Fekkai Advance Essential Shea Shampoo and Conditioner. I am Bumble and Bumble loyal with all of my hair products but, I was pleasantly surprised by this combo. Deliciously smelling, and left my hair super soft. A great product overall.
Madewell Coupon. Madewell is an amazing store. I like to think of it as a cross between J. Crew and Urban Outfitters. Which means, it's one of the only stores my sister and I agree on. (I'm the Urban, she's the Crew). Luckily for me, a new Madewell just opened at Beachwood. I think there is a new sweater in my future...
