I don't know if you know this, but I love black. I am not a fan of color--at all. So, when I attempted to find an item of GREEN in my wardrobe, it was like trying to find the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Non-existent.
But, never fear- CLE Clothing is always here! With ah-mazing CLE-St. Patrick's Day themed wear. So, I got in my cute and green long-sleeved gear and headed out to Allison's for a patio party in freezing temperatures.
What a great morning it was! I am so much better at day-drinking than drinking at night. It's my assumption that God made me this way because he knew eventually, I would be a Browns fan and it would be an important skill to hone.
We had Jameson, beer, mimosas, green bagels, green cake pops, green doughnuts, green cream puffs, green---everything. Out on the porch there was a serious game of beer pong/champ pong. Inside, friends gathered. When I say friends, I mean friends.
So many people in Allison's really open floor plan apartment. So many people ready to celebrate the luck o' the Irish!
After a fair amount of pre-gaming, a few of us decided to brave downtown for some drinks and traditional Irish music. What a blast! People watching was at an all time high, green was everywhere and I was having an ah-mazing time dancing and frolicking (that's what Leprechauns do, right?) with friends.
First Cleveland St. Patrick's Day was a huge success.
Home for a sober-up nap, wake up to write a paper for school. Welcome to my so-called "adult" life...
