I cannot believe the wedding is over. After a full year of planning, an amazing bachelorette in Miami, more parties than I can count and one amazing wedding weekend in Cinci—my sister is a Mrs.
The weekend started out with a short road trip to Cinci and a serious spray tan. Little did I know in Cinci, they do it straight up neked. Yep. Neked. I wasn't even given the option to wear those awful hospital undies that I imagine are similar to the diaper they make you wear when you give birth. (Shudder).
Tanned and sticky, we headed off to dinner with the newest members of my family. If you've never been to the Montgomery Inn in Cinci, you need to go. Get the Chips and Straws app and like seventy-five sides of the BBQ. No, that's not an exaggeration. I could have bathed in it.
We finished the night by packing my sister up for Bora Bora (Yes, like the Kardashians- speaking of, go Caity!)
The next day all the lovely ladies of my sister's Bridal Party to the nail salon. This was no group of dogs, my friend. All of us were looking ready to #werk.
The rehearsal dinner was at Via Vite- also another amazing Cinci restaurant with a killer view of downtown. Get the Gnocchi. Trust me. It was a wonderful dinner where I had a bit too much fun so- waking up at 7 AM for hair & makeup was rough. I slammed a Gatorade and put my party pants, et-matching Bridesmaids robe, on and was ready to par-tay.
The church was easy, I was so nervous that I would be struck down by whomever lives there (or above there...whatever) that I didn't cry. Zero emotion. Cold hearted snake here.
Then, we took pictures for what felt like 75 hours, in 87 degree heat and I wanted to die. Confirmation that this whole wedding thing, may not be for me. Viva Mexico!
The cocktail hour and reception were so beautiful. It was like every single Pinterest board you've ever looked at and secretly pinned so as to not look like a complete weirdo to your boyfriend- slammed into one beautiful venue with the most beautiful bride you've ever seen.
Also, I left the emotions to Emily (Matron of Honor) and Jeff's brother and went Kevin Hart funny with mine. I think I nailed it. I think...but I may or may not have convinced a waitress to give me a double shot of Tito's. There is nothing in this World Tito's won't get you through—that's a valuable life lesson from me. You're welcome.
We danced the night away, took too many photos in the photo booth, ate way too many french fries and burgers for late night snacks— and all together celebrated the happy couple surrounded by family and friends.
It was truly a magical night.
Congrats to Jamie and Jeff. I couldn't be happier for you both.
PS: Don't forget, if you see #Kimye on a #Babymoon. Snap multiple pix!
